Barossa Valley

The fertile soil of the Barossa is home to some of the world’s most highly praised vineyards. The region has cool summers and rainy winters which help to create the perfect climate for red wine production, particularly Shiraz and luxuriant Cabernet varietals. The Barossa Valley is easy to navigate with long stretches of road populated by cellar doors, restaurants and vineyards. Seppeltsfield Road itself has 16 wineries, along with well-known South Australian identity, Maggie Beer’s Pheasant Farm.
